The Covid-19 pandemic magnified inequities embedded in our communities, including issues such as health care, employment, food insecurity, housing and access to education. Ensuring all students have access to technological resources is essential to facilitating virtual learning. This competition challenged participants to create proposals for temporary movable support centers to distribute in Springfield neighborhoods — providing pop-up educational facilities with technological resources. The winning team was selected by a panel of three jurors.
