Join us for Better Block SGF's Annual Meeting — a yearly celebration of local placemaking — on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at LA Luna Hair Academy on Park Central Square.

Our 2025 theme is “Make Something Where You Are: How Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Collaboration Drive Community Transformation.” This year's panel of placemaking leaders includes Jeff Houghton, Moderator (Emmy-winning Host of The Mystery Hour), Tim O’Reilly (CEO/Managing Partner of O’Reilly Hospitality Management), Laine Scholz (Owner of Garbo’s Pizzeria) and Mark Hecquet (President/CEO of Visit Springfield).

Happy hour starts at 5:00 p.m. with food and drinks from The Golden Girl Rum Club. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. This event is free to attend, but space is limited: RSVP today.
