For the inaugural competition in 2020, teams were asked to create innovative solutions for a bus shelter — to provide a more comfortable public space for transit users. Five teams, comprised of students, designers, artists and architects, presented their concepts to community members and a jury of four professionals from the fields of design, planning and transportation.
