2020 was a year full of social tension and division, book-ended by the Covid-19 pandemic and a presidential election. In the spirit of unity and creative spontaneity, Better Block SGF constructed a simple swing set, called Swing Vote, and placed the installation near a polling location on election day. Citizens took a swing as a celebration of our right to vote and ability to help shape the community we want to live in and leave behind for generations to come.
