The Nixa placemaking demonstration provided an opportunity for the community to reimagine downtown Nixa as a community hub that supports local economy, social interaction and community pride.

The 90-day demonstration included art installations, landscaping, outdoor seating, a crosswalk street mural and a new pocket park. The kickoff featured live music, yard games and other interactive activities.
